SYDNEY LOCKDOWN DELAYS AND STOCK ISSUES

The current Sydney lockdown has seen our orders surge.
FoodMart88 has just launched and we’re still ironing out a few kinks, but we’re doing everything in our power to get you your favourite international ingredients.

As we are fast tracking our launch to help as many locked-down Sydneysiders as possible, some of the items that appear available on FoodMart88’s virtual shelves may not be in stock when you order.

If that’s the case, we’ll let you know via SMS as soon as possible and refund you within three to five business days.

We know it’s annoying, and rest assured our team is working to improve shelf-to-inventory accuracy every day.

During delivery runs, our drivers will wear masks when they are outside the car, and use hand sanitiser before and after handling bags. To reduce the chance of infection, please wear a mask if you’re at home to answer the door and take your order. After knocking, our staff will leave your order at your doorstep and will stay back at least 1.5 metres while you pick up your bags

above. If your order is less than $50, an
$8 flat fee applies.

    When FoodMart88 delivers

    Our delivery time slots are 10AM-2PM and 4-8PM on Tuesdays,
    Thursdays and Saturdays,
    which we hope to expand in the coming weeks.

    We pack fresh products an hour before each delivery time slot to ensure you get the freshest possible ingredients (no almost-expired sauces here!). Last orders are at 8PM the night before each delivery time slot.

    What happens on delivery day

    On the day of your delivery, you’ll get an SMS telling you when your driver has picked up your order, and another once the driver has completed the delivery.

    Please make sure your delivery address is correct – you don’t want a typo to send your favourite noodles into your neighbour’s stomach instead.

    Also make sure when you order to include instructions to the driver if your home is tricky to find, whether it’s because you’re in a huge apartment complex or because your house’s street number is hard to spot.

    • Please also have your phone handy if we need to call you during delivery. If you can’t be around for your delivery time slot, please leave clear delivery instructions in the Checkout Form.
    • If you aren’t home and have not authorised us to leave your order in a safe location, we will organise redelivery at a future date. This may incur another delivery fee.
    • We will also not be leaving any orders over $100 unattended, or if we decide there’s a risk your order might be lost or stolen.
      If you’d like us to leave your items at your address no matter what, please type the words “authority to leave” in the delivery instructions in the checkout form. Our driver will leave your order in what they consider the safest and most suitable spot.
